National GREEN AWARDS™ : NOMINATION Information

Important information:

National Green Awards (NGA) is excited to announce the 2013 National GREEN Awards Categories for nomination and entry. TWO main groups of categories are included, namely:
            Category A (Group 1):    National ENVIRO-Hero Awards, and
            Category B (Group 2):    National GREEN Awards.

We reserve the right to modify these Categories at any time (depending on entries received), so please review it frequently. If we make changes to the category list, we will notify you on this page, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.
Please review our website frequently to not miss any new updates.

IMPORTANT DATES:

1. Closing date for receiving entries (nominations) is: Friday, 1st June 2013.
2. A shortlist with all finalists will be available from the 1st July 2013 on this website.
3. Official National GREEN AWARDS™ event: August 2013.

Important steps to follow when submitting a new nomination (entry):

• REGISTER with your contact details and join our as a member of the National GREEN-Network.
• Download the official NOMINATION / ENTRY FORM from the National GREEN Awards website.
• Fill in all the fields on the Nomination form, including contact information and organisational details.
• You will be required to select the category you wish to enter.
• If you are nominating yourself/ somebody else for multiple categories, you must complete separate entries  (nomination forms) for each entry.
• ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / Compulsory Evidence, such as images, videos or other documents in support of your entry, can either be posted or emailed (see contact details below).
• PAY NOMINATION / ENTRY FEES (see Banking details on page 7 of download):
  You will be required to pay for each entry individually, as this will be linked to your entry form(s),
  For each entry submitted for the NATIONAL GREEN AWARDS™ 2013, an entry fee as specified below, must accompany the nomination form:

  Individual / Community Nomination:	No fee payable
  School / Other Educational Institution:	R100 + VAT
  Nomination of an Organisation:	Small (1 - 10 employees): R500 + VAT
  	Medium (11 - 100 employees): R1 000 + VAT
  	Large (101+ employees): R2 000 + VAT

  The above mentioned fees will be used by the WEF for Education for Sustainable Development.

• After your payment and fully completed nomination (entry) form have been received, you will receive a confirmation email with your unique reference number from the NGA-team.
